Handcrafted using the centuries-old Dhokra lost-wax casting technique, this sculpture portrays Jhitku and Mitki, the legendary tribal lovers of Chhattisgarh, often remembered as the region's own Romeo and Juliet.
According to local folklore, Mitki fell in love with Jhitku, a gifted musician. Their story ended in tragedy, yet their love became a symbol of devotion, hope, and fulfilled wishes. Many tribal communities continue to honour the couple as a blessing for love, harmony, and heartfelt aspirations.
Each piece is individually cast by skilled artisans in Chhattisgarh, making every sculpture subtly unique. With its rich heritage and timeless form, it brings character to a home, workspace, or a thoughtfully chosen gift.
